Evaluation Synopsis
Thomas Khan has been extremely effective on the mound, displaying full traits of pitch-ability. He has shown his capability of working the zone, commanding his fastball, and being aggressive with hitters.
Khan’s fundamentals start with a leg-kick load followed by clean separation and a semi-sling arm action. He reaches back keeping his arm elevated and releasing at a 3 / 4 arm slot. His delivery is repeated well and he is consistent from the wind and from the stretch.
Khan’s fastball has bite, working the corners with noticeable run. He trusts working his heater that sits on the edge towards 90. His curveball and slider are both workable options, followed by a changeup that slows it right down.
So far on the season, Khan has recorded 38 strikeouts in 21 and 2 / 3 innings of work.
His WWBA experience resulted in 3 and 1 /3 innings of work, allowing only 1 hit, 1 earned-run, and 7 strikeouts.
He is a 2-way player with some pop in his bat showing athleticism and durability.
